Ett zappafan snackar

Ja, detta är verkligen rörande.
Jag tar mig friheten att helt enkelt klippa in en ett inlägg på ett
forum som kommenterar: Zappa plays Zappa 2007.

What can you say?

Words are really pathetically inadequate to really describe the feelings
that run through your whole person when you are experiencing the most
fantastic music ever written, played by such fantastically skilled
musicians and, as icing on the cake, occasionally watching Frank himself
on the giant screen behind...

As a fan for many many years I had thought that the World's Finest
Optional Entertainment would never hit a stage again after the horrific
catastrophe of Frank's passing in 93, but for two years in a row Dweezil
and band have proved me wrong by performing spotless renditions of music
that is miles ahead of any other music that I can think of.

Frank is to me the most important person who ever lived and I get happy
just seeing a picture of him. And yesterday, watching him in the unique
footage from Cosmik Debris, he provoked both tears of sadness and raw
unbridled laughter in a peculiar mix...

Seeing the great man whom I miss so dearly in his hilarious mimicking of
the hand clapping of a Person With No Natural Rhythm was simultaneously
heartbreaking and making me laugh my ass off. Those five seconds are
definitely one of the funniest Zappa moments I've ever seen in my entire
life, period!!

Dweezil became emotional when told the audience that will keep on
playing for as long as we want him to... Virtually the whole audience
gave him a standing ovation as a response. So Dweezil, be certain that
there will always be a home for Frank Zappa's music in Sweden.

Please, please, please come back.

Thanks to the World Famous Ray White for your Voice and your amazing
good humour and the extraordinary funny impromptu improv in "The Last
Time I Looked Down There I was Swedish"... So very good to see you, Ray.

Thanks THE ZPZ BAND for your total devotion and jaw-droppingly
astonishing musicianship and your overall STAGECRAFT... (Oh to have only
0,1 % of your musical talent!)

Thanks Dweezil for the simply tremenjus guitar solo in Pygmy... for
introducing The Granddaughter of Frank Zappa, the heartbreakingly sweet
little Zola! (Was this actually Zola's stage debut? Good thing to teach
her about the strange breed of Zappa Fanatics from an early age!

And thanks to FRANK for the Music and for Being Around once. Missing him
acutely still.

Thank you all in ZAPPA PLAYS ZAPPA from the bottom of my heart!
